SunVox offers a unique blend of modular and tracker software, standing out with its incredible cross-platform compatibility and affordability. It's praised for its efficient workflow, stability, and ability to run seamlessly on older hardware, making it an excellent tool for electronic music production and sound design. While it might not serve as the central hub for most studios, it excels as a supplementary tool, especially for live audio processing. However, the interface can be daunting for those new to tracker environments, and there's a lack of loop-and-overdub functionality and latency compensation. Despite these drawbacks, SunVox impresses with its depth, performance, and cost-effectiveness, making it a worthwhile addition for musicians willing to invest time in mastering its unique interface.

SunVox is AMAZING

I love the unique way of working here. Besides, this DAW has a very versatile interface that combines tracker and arranger, like in Ableton and similar programs. The modules are simply amazing and very customizable. And even though I'm still new, I really liked this program. And I'll be using Renoise more often. Their plan to make a second SunVox plugin is a really good idea. Just imagine what kind of machine you could create: Renoise + SunVox (as a plugin) + Polyend Tracker. And if you add all sorts of other hardware, you could create a really cool studio. A very underrated thing. I wish people like Aphex Twin would try this. 54/10
