Togu Audio Line TAL-Mod review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

TAL-MOD by Togu Audio Line is a versatile synth with a rich, analogue sound that impresses with its clear layout and powerful features, like three oscillators and two filters. The modulation system uses virtual patch cables, adding a unique touch. However, effects can't be reordered, and the sequencer transpose can be frustrating. Despite these minor drawbacks, its competitive pricing and impressive sound make TAL-MOD a worthwhile investment for any synth enthusiast.

TAL has a lot of TALent

I was a big fan of the Bassline 101, and thought it sounded a lot more beefy than the luSH-01 by d16 group, and I hear similar phatness in the MOD. I wasn't expecting pads of this quality though. Very rich sounding. I know the arp presets don't do the sequencer any justice and my own will sound a lot better !!
