Originally conceptualized by John Veleno for Todd Rundgren in the 1970s, this guitar's journey is as intriguing as its aluminum sheen. The Ankh's resurrection in the 2000s brought together the expertise of the Veleno family and the skilled hands of James Little from Aluminati Guitar Company. With only six of these guitars ever created, owning a Veleno Ankh is akin to holding a piece of rock history.

The Ankh's body is forged from aluminum, providing a crisp, resonant tone that sets it apart from traditional wooden guitars. Its chrome-plated finish ensures it dazzles under stage lights, while the aluminum hollow core neck offers a unique feel and playability. The inclusion of a Seymour Duncan Single-Coil pickup ensures that every note you play sings with clarity and precision, whether you're strumming or shredding.

Designed for the discerning musician, the Veleno Ankh features a brass Tune-O-Matic bridge and Sperzel tuners for unparalleled stability and tuning accuracy. Who made the Ankh-shaped guitar you're playing now?

It was made by John Veleno [3131 Tyrone Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL 33710]. I have two of them that are more or less identical in case I break a string.
