Description
Introducing the Victory Amplification V30 The Jack MKII 40-watt Tube Guitar Amp Head, a perfect blend of power, portability, and versatility. This compact powerhouse was originally designed with the renowned Guthrie Govan as his 'flying amp'. The MKII version now comes with an all-new Clean-channel Crunch mode and the footswitchable 'Nomod' function, offering two levels of bass response, making it an ultimate ultra-compact all-rounder.
The original V30 boasts a distinct clean and overdrive channels, offering massive headroom and clarity, and a heavy rocking overdrive. With the MKII, an extra footswitchable crunch mode has been added to the clean channel, opening up a new palette of pushed clean, crunch, and light overdrive tones.
The Jack underwent a change from the Countess in late 2020 to better represent the versatility of the amplifier. However, rest assured, it’s still the same top-notch amplifier inside, and the changes made are purely visual and in name.
Key Features:
- Two Channels, Three Modes: Footswitchable Clean and Overdrive channels offering high-headroom cleans to huge, modern-rock-ready gain. Includes a footswitchable Crunch mode in the Clean channel for low- and mid-gained tones.
- High & Low Power Modes: Features a punchy, high-headroom clarity with 42 watts, loud enough for almost any stage. Also, includes a low-power 7-watt mode for exploring lower volume and a different set of dynamics.
- External Bias Adjustment: No need for fiddling inside the amp when changing output valves. Includes a bias range switch on the chassis to suit either EL34 or 6L6 power valves.
- All New Crunch Mode: A new footswitchable addition to the Clean channel that brings an extra gain stage for pushed and light overdrive sounds.
- Nomod Function: A new footswitchable low-end response function for a tighter feel, especially with heavier overdrive sounds.
