Good guitar, looks good, sounds good, plays good
on the cheaper end of guitars, but it is a good quality instrument. It produces a good sound and tone that can be moulded into different things for different styles. It looks verry close to the Slash AFD 100 les paul, but the main differences excluding the head and cut out shaps, are that the pickups aren't as good, and eventhough they are pretty good, they aren't the best.
Definition of a Diamond in The Rough
Stock this guitar sounds as good as any Gibson Les Paul I have owned or played. The hardware, electronics and pickups are all Wilkenson and it makes a huge difference in Les Pauls in this price range. That said, this guitar took SOOO MUCH WORK TO GET PLAYING WELL! I literally had to level the frets and polish them, run a full setup and neck adjustment. It took about a week of solid work to get it playable. It's now my "go to Rock guitar" when I require that LP shine but it took a while to get there. Added pickup covers and a pickguard to make it look more classic LP, I didn't replace any of the hardware or electronics. The stock stuff really is that good.
Into Guns N Roses? Look no further
Although inspired by a certain top-hatted guitarist, this guitar is capable of most any hard rock/heavy blues, is affordable and brilliantly made to boot. The Wilkinson hardware and strap locks give it a quality of build that's practically unheard of for such a low price point. Highly recommended!
