Yamaha MM8 Review | Digital Piano Review Guide

digitalpianoreviewguide.com

The Yamaha MM8 offers a mixed bag for keyboard enthusiasts. On the bright side, it boasts a fantastic arpeggiator, intuitive controls, and some stellar synth sounds, particularly its guitar emulation. The weighted keybed also provides a satisfying playing experience. However, its 32-voice polyphony is a significant limitation for more demanding users, and its design feels dated. While it delivers good value for hobbyists, its price may deter beginners, and its features may not satisfy seasoned players. Ultimately, the MM8 is a competent workstation, yet there are more enticing alternatives in its price range.

Not Bad

The MM8 is light, so it can be carried around if you don't mind the size. It has a very large set of presets, but many of them sound the same, and the quality isn't great. Overall, i give it 7/10.
