Keyboards and Synthesizers 16

You just gotta love this little FM synth by Korg. Throw this into a reverb + delay and it's going to sound amazing. For such a low price this is an amazing synth to add to your studio
Everyone knows the iconic Minimoog Model D from the 70ies. I own the re-issue version, which is just as great. It's a beast!
Truly an awesome and very versatile synthesizer! Love it
Its capabilities are a bit limited compared to some of the other beast synthesizers out there (that are much more expensive), but for its price it's an absolute killer synth!
Very cool little synth by Korg. Quite limited in its capabilities, but for its low price this is a nobrainer to add to your studio. I love the fact that it's so portable, works on batteries and has built in speakers. You can take this thing with you everywhere and make some cool acid basslines :)
One of my first synths. Bought this one when I was about 17-18 years old. Never quite used it in many of my music productions for some reason, but it was a lot of fun playing on this synth over the years! And it looks fantastic of course :)
My parents gave me this keyboard when I was about 12 years old and it's the first one I've ever owned. The sound on it is quite terrible haha, but I still keep it on the lowest tier of my synth rack, purely for nostalgic reasons (great memories) and to let my little 1 year old daughter have a jam at it once in a while :)
Truly amazing synth from Access. Loving this one

Effects Pedals 12

Definitely one of the best pieces of equipment I ever bought for my studio. I use in on guitar, but also on a lot of synths and even my kalimba. Instantly makes everything sound amazing and sends you right into space!
One of the most important pedals in my studio. I use this on guitar but also on synths and other instruments like kalimba. It doesn't really matter what you use, it's going to sound amazing for sure when you throw the strymon timeline over it :)
This is a special pedal for sure. I use it at the _end_ of the pedal chain after the reverb/delay, which results in a weird old tape kind of wobble effect and gives the sound a very oldschool vibe. Loving it! Only downside is that it's mono and not stereo
Loving this for the awesome note slides. Using it mainly on guitar with a lot of reverb & delay over it. Sends you right into space :)
One of the best wahwah pedals out there!
I love the fact that this pedal is so simple, yet does its job perfectly. The sound is awesome!
Really great distortion pedal. Loving it
Nothing to complain about this tuner pedal. Does its job perfectly!
Powers just about all of my pedals, except for the Strymon Bigsky and Timeline
Great pedal that's fun to use on guitar and bass, but also definitely on synths!

DAWs 3

Used this as my main DAW from around 1999 to 2016. Of course it cannot compete anymore against the widely known and extensive DAWs of today (like Ableton Live), but this pretty unknown piece of software has served me well for 17 years. Made 100nds of tracks in this. It's funny how you can create certain sounds very easily in Buzz which you cannot do in the popular DAWs of today. The only downside is that is crashed constantly so I have like 30 versions of each track and used to save every 10 minutes or so :)
Didn't use Renoise that much to be honest. Before Renoise I used Jeskola Buzz and it was a huge step upwards, but after Renoise I quickly switched to Ableton Live because it simply has more to offer. However, I do still sometimes sync Renoise and Ableton together because it offers a very interesting and different way of making music and I like the fact that the sequencer runs from top to bottom, which is what I was used to with Jeskola Buzz for many years and Fasttracker 2 before that. Always get fun results from using Renoise. Great piece of software
After switching to Ableton Live in 2016 from Jeskola Buzz that I used between 2000-2016 it was a giant step up. It's so amazing how much you can do with Ableton Live. Never regretted switching to this DAW for a second. It's the backbone of my music productions

Software Plugins and VSTs 10

One of the best softsynths out there. Used this one in nearly all my tracks from the past couple of years. Throw a bunch of reverb and tape-delay over the sounds and it sounds amazing :)
Truly one of the sickest and most extensive softsynths I've ever used. Love it to bits! First my style of music brilliantly
All products by Native Instruments are amazing and so is this bundle. Using this a lot in my productions
One of the first DAWs I ever used. Made 100nds of tracks in this one between ages 12-18 or so. Very simplistic but back in the day this was one of the most amazing and versatile pieces of software. I cannot express how much I owe to FT2. Big ups to the developers that made this. It was a childhood dream come true!
One of the most legendary softsynths out there and for a good reason. Massive sound!
Like everything by Native Instruments, Kontakt is an amazing piece of software
Love this delay VST. One of the best out there
One of the nicer reverb VSTs out there. It's a bit complex at first, but does a great job
Amazing softsynth for house music, but I use this most regularly to create sounds for drum&bass tunes

Guitars 2

I'm not a professional guitar player but I love this guitar!

Bass Guitars 1

I'm not a good bass-player by all means, but I used this to record simple bass lines for my (mostly electronic) music and it sounds great. Very happy with this bass-guitar

Studio Monitors 1

Studio Equipment 9

I don't actually use a lot of the automap features on this midi keyboard, but it's great nevertheless. Served me well over the years!
Fits perfectly in my laptop bag for when I'm on the road and want to make music :)
Does what it's supposed to do. The only downside I think is that you cannot control the levels of input 3&4 (other than 1&2), which can be quite annoying because I always record 2 stereo signals through a Direct Box, a dry signal and a signal with lots of effect pedals on top of them. Channels 1&2 are always much louder than 3&4 and there's no way to even this out on the interface itself. Other than that it's a great interface!
Nothing fancy about this mixer, but it does what it does and it does it well :)

Microphones 1

I own 2 of these to record stereo sounds like acoustic guitar, conga's, etc. Not the best mic ever of course but for its price it's great!

DJ Setup 3

Great mixer that I've used for many years and was an intergral piece of equipment in my studio. Recorded many of my Scientific Radio shows on this one. Stopped working properly after many years, but had a lot of fun times on this one :)
Learned how to DJ on 2 of these in 1997-1998. Still have 2 of them setup in my studio now. Hardly ever touch them anymore to be honest, but they still work, sound and look great :) Gotta love vinyl!
Great mixer that I used for Traktor & Final Scratch

Headphones 1

I bought many pieces of gear in my life, but getting this pair of headphones was one of the best. It's just so practical. I don't really use it during my music production sessions, but I use it when I'm having a walk in nature, when I'm lying in bed at night or when I'm taking a bath :) The noise cancelling is amazing!

Other Gear 3

Too bad it doesn't support USB, which kind of makes them obsolete these days, but I still own 2 of these that I've used for many years in the studio. Recorded many mixes for my Scientific Radio show with these.
I'm by no means a professional kalimba player but I use mine to sample little melodies and put reverb & delay over them. Sounds amazing!
