Nowadays Andy’s been using a somewhat simpler rig. He has a Ernie Ball volume pedal, Klon Centaur overdrive, Menatone Red Snapper OD, Fulltone Ultimate Octave, couple of pedals from Red Witch including Empress Chorus and Moon Phaser, and a couple of rack effects like Eventide Eclipse Multi-Effects Processor, TC Electronics 1210 Spatial Expander and the Lexicon PCM70 Reverb.
In the very early days of Police, Andy was using just the MXR Phase 90 pedal, and a reverb. As he became more successful, he got himself the Pete Cornish pedalboard, which had all kinds of effects programmed into it, including Mutron Envelope filter, wah wahs, fuzz boxes and distortions like EHX Muff Fuzz and Distortion+, MXR Dyna Comp Compressor, Phase 90 and others. He also used the Roland GR-300 Guitar Synthesizer.
In this photo, which is shown on Summers' website, the Rickenbacker 620 can be seen.
According to the Premier Guitar's interview, one of the pedals Summers is using is the Fractal Axe FX II XL+ multi-fx processor.

In this image posted to Andy's Instagram account, we can see a Fuzz Face on the top shelf, on the upper-right area of the image (to the left of the red Whammy pedal). It's identifiable by the white logo, blue paint, and the logo indentation running across the bottom of the chassis.
In the mid-70s, Allan Gittler -a New York designer- wanted to take a concept to the minimum expression, also to demonstrate to his fellow builders that that of sustain and wood was sovereign nonsense. So he made a guitar in which wood does not exist.
Starting with a stainless steel frame as if it were a fish bone, he placed up to 31 frets, individual pickups for each of the strings, weighing less than 2 kg and a revolutionary micro-tuning system (most likely this system it was the inspiration for another innovative guitar, the Steinberger). One of these Gittlers was acquired by Andy Summers (The Police) and can be seen in the Syncronicity video. Some of them can be seen in prestigious museums of modern art.
“Man, I saw this D-28…” and he said, “We just made 10 reissues of those in our Authentic series, where we go back to the original way certain models were made including using animal glue, which makes all the difference.” Long story short, I did get a Martin D-28 Authentic.
"I've got two new synths, the Roland JX3P which interfaces best with the GR700, and the Jupiter 6. I'm also trying to get a Yamaha DX7, but you've got to be careful not to collect too much at once, or your life becomes dominated by buttons. The JX3P is coming out in a little rack mounted unit in August without the keyboard and I'm waiting for that as well."
Before he starts to praise the mighty Roland VG-99, he talks about usage of Boss RC-20XL loop station.
"I heard that you’ve used one of the BOSS loopers, the RC-20XL.
I have. I’ve got a looper in the studio. I’ve been recording for months."
In this article written by Andy Summers, he says he uses Pigtronix pedals, both the Philosopher's Tone, and the Quantum Time Modulator. He says, "Thus the arrival of the Philosophers Tone; a small metal box which alchemically transforms electrical current through its ingenious use of transistors, chips and whatever you call those things on the inside, into pure tone. I plug in with joy realizing that with this act I am in the great philosophical continuum and that in fact Descartes was right 'I sustain therefore I am'"
On TC's website, the TC Electronic Ditto x2 Looper pedal is listed among the TC Electronic products Andy Summers uses.
On TC's website, the TC Electronic Corona Chorus pedal is listed among the TC Electronic products Andy Summers uses.

According to Summers' website, the "Anniversary Telecaster model" is finished. The "Anniversary Telecaster model", resembles heavily to 60th Anniversary Telecaster.
Summers also incorporated Marshall amps and a Roland guitar synthesizer into his rig. Of course, times have changed and so has Summers’ gear. For the ’07/’08 Police reunion tour, he used an elaborate two-piece Bob Bradshaw switching system, the right wing of which includes three Boss FV-500H Volume/Expression pedals, one used to control a rack-mounted Lexicon PCM 70 and two for an Eventide Eclipse, a Moogerfooger Analog Delay, and a Boss Loop Station and Chromatic Tuner. The left wing houses the main Bradshaw switching unit, plus another FV-500H and a Dunlop Cry Baby wah. Summers’ off-stage rack also contains his main Custom Audio OD100 amp and a Carvin DCM150 used to power stereo effects (each amp feeds two Mesa/Boogie Rectifier 2x12 speaker cabs), plus additional signal processors, including a T.C. Electronic TC1210 Spatial Expander/Stereo Chorus/Flanger, Bob Bradshaw V-Comp Tube Compressor, D-Two Multi-tap Rhythm Delay, and a slew of stomp boxes, including a Love Eternity Overdrive, Red Witch Empress Chorus and Moon Phaser, Klon Centaur, Maxon SD9, and Z.Vex Fuzz Factory…
At 3:48 in this video showing Andy Summers' effects rack a Yamaha SPX90II is visible.
