Sounds like the old Vox but better
I sold my Vox V-847 and bought this one (red logo). This has the Vox sound but it does it better as it is more reliable. It does the vintage Clyde or Teese RMC sound. without problem. I find it better than any Cry Baby wah...

You get a good sound, but it laks umph!
I bought this off someone used, when he was playing it it sounded awesome. It has that really clean WAH sound, very many wah pedals dont have that. But it isnt as strong as a crybaby. This wah pedal you want to play in clean with a little reverb and nothing else. It doesnt sound very good with distortion or fuzz, as it takes away the clean WAH sound this is know for.

I honestly have not noticed that. I have tried a ton of Wah's and I really like this. Just sounds good to me.

His setup has varied a bit, and have not seen them live in the past few weeks so I can't say what he's got now, but on the Smile tour it was definitely a Fulldrive II, vintage Fuzz Face, Script Phase 90, and a Buddha Wah into the DC30."
