Description
Embrace the vintage vibe with the Dallas-Arbiter England Fuzz Face, a legendary pedal that's been a staple in the music industry since the 60s. Known for its distinct microphone stand mount-inspired chassis and iconic smile, this classic Fuzz pedal appears deceptively simple with its two Volume and Fuzz controls, but can unlock untold tonal possibilities when using a guitar's volume knob. With its rich history and lineage, initially produced by Arbiter England, the Dallas Arbiter incarnation would become the most famous variation used by many of the guitar heroes of yesteryear. From the original UK-made versions to later variations by CBS Arbiter, Cornell, Crest Audio, and Dunlop, the Fuzz Face remains a collectible item, especially the early versions equipped with the sought-after Germanium transistors.
Key Features:
- Original fuzz effect pedal with distinctive chassis design
- Offers Volume and Fuzz controls for versatile tone shaping
- Rich cleanup, can achieve overdriven or glassy clean tones with a guitar volume knob

a classic
I had a blue 70s arbiter for a while... it had silicon transistors, BC109s maybe? I forget... my particularly unit had a really gated zippery sound like a Maestro combined with a Mosrite.
