In a 2017 interview featured in MusicTech magazine, Jane Weaver discusses using the Casio MT-46, an early 80s home keyboard, particularly its drum sounds, for the rhythm on her song "Don't Take My Soul."
In a live performance at Old Granada Studios, as seen in a video by Low Four, Jane Weaver uses the Roland Gaia SH-01 Synthesizer.

I attended this solo Jane Weaver gig in person at Leeds City Varieties on October 30th 2018. I was intrigued by what was making the exotic tampura sounds from a strange box by the side of the stage. After the gig I spoke to Jane and she told me it was this.
