Greco was the pinnacle of so called "lawsuit" guitar companies

These bad boys were Les Pauls stamped with a different name and built in the same Fuijijen factory as many of my other guitars (my 94' Talmans, etc). What's there to say? If you know a 1978 Les Paul than you know this guitar. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm not particularly a Les Paul fan. I'm not a fan of heavy guitars in general and they don't make em' heavier than Les Pauls. The only reason I even own one is because it's a perfect replica with the same parts for a fraction of the price, so why not buy it just to add it to my collection and play on my lap every once in a blue.

I keep thinking of buying a 70s EG700 or better.... they tend to be on the heavy side and more like a 70s Norlin era Gibson construction-wise, I keep hesitating as I have a Greco MR from that era which I love, but you don't get a low of EG for what I paid for my top-shelf MR

I literally NEVER play it standing up LOL! I might as well take off the strap locks like I did the pick guard because they'll never be used :).

how much does yours weigh? 9lbs or so? I ahd an 88 Gibson lp standard that was almost 10 lbs. That cured me of my les paul lust and I eventually became an SG guy.
