In a live performance by Squid, guitarist Louis Borlase is seen playing the Burns Marvin Signature guitar. For the purposes of 2025 album "Cowards", Borlase strung his Burns Marvin in Nashville tuning, and used it for "Cowards", "Fieldworks I", and "Fieldworks II", according to 2025 guitar.com interview.
As a lefty, Borlase has learned to rely on a trusted cast of characters for his guitar sounds, including a Martin 000-15 for the acoustic parts, and his Burns Marquee (strung in Nashville tuning) for songs such as Cowards and Fieldworks I and II.
