The Strattiest Strat I've over owned.

This is one of the best purchases of my career. When I went into the store to buy a guitar, I was actually looking for a Gretsch, but none of the Gretsch's they had resonated with me. I went into the Custom Shop section of the store and saw this. At first I thought it was a bit Ostentatious and over the top because it was Aztec Gold but I thought "What the hell." and I plugged it in. I couldn't put the thing down. The feel, the tone, the look, it all complimented itself. I then later found out that it was the actual guitar they used for the photo in the 2017 CS Design Guide, which is such a cool plus!

In this picture from an undated concert, Nick Valensi can be seen playing a Fender 63 Stratocaster NOS GYW HSS FR. Although the brand of the guitar seems unsure do the picture being cropped, after a few researches, it looks like this model was used : from the graffiti yellow color, the black pickguard, and EVH black humbuckers, to the floyd rose on the nut and the tremolo, the ebony fretboard and the 22 jumbo frets, it is very plausible that this specific model was used. The guitar seems modified too, as the 60's/63's Strat neck pickup seems to have been replaced by another humbucker.
