A very nice old dynamic.
This mic sounds a lot like Sennheiser's very similar looking MD409. It might have the same capsule. I don't know for sure. Where it differs is the touches for stage use; an on/off switch and a hi/lo impedance switch marked aus/ein. This is definitely meant to be a stage microphone but performs well in the studio. You can't go wrong with a D14 on mid range focused sources, pretty much any place you would use a modern sennheiser e609.
