Mars Tuxedo 19060s

Lianna La Havas plays one of these and I've always been impressed with her warm guitar sound. These guitars (Alden) were Harmony-budget guitars in the sixties, produced for supermarkets. But basically they simply are Harmony-guitars. Killer looks with the gold sparkle, killer tone with the DeArmond pick-up. Very fat neck which I like. These guitars are not expensive and lesser-known, a gem and my best advice for those looking for a very good not too expensive vintage guitar!

only the single pickup version? bummer, the bridge sound on these is wicked.... highly underrated in these days of folks slapping gold foils at the necks of their teles

anyway, with respect, we prefer members don't create their own pro pages.... if someone else creates it and an artist wants to populate it themselves or edit other people's submissions we really love that, but there's supposed to be a vetting process for pro pages, its just not well implemented... there's just too many relative unknowns cluttering the server with pro pages they created for themselves to link in their EPK as a promotional tool and it gets hard to weed things out!

the admins are currently undertaking a project to make the user pages uniform with the pro pages with categories, etc, so if you created the pro page to help with organization it will all be resolved shortly
