Artist usage
Add artist
In this article Pedro Aznar says he uses an Avid Venue SC48 for recording his shows. He says, "Siempre grabamos el audio con una consola Avid Venue SC48, capturamos en multi pista todos los conciertos o sea que todo está registrado por cada ciudad que pasamos."
He talks about his Avid mixer at 1:38 in his studio tech talk:
The mixer is an Avid SC48 Venue Live mixing board, a digital mixer, capable of taking Pro Tools plug-ins. It is an older system, but success it is can run Pro Tools plug-ins you've got the ones from Waves, TC, from the Plug-in Alliance BX, a large variety of them you can install on it. So that means I have all the compressors, from SSL, from Waves, and all that stuff in here. Effects, delays and whatever else. I think this is still one of the few mixers that can do that to this day.
