Mod this amp for better sound

I replaced the Behringer 12AX7 valve that was in it with a Siemens 12AU7, which sounds a lot better, especially in the low end.

emmanuel_ferreira

Okay

A cool pre-amp, specially for begginers. If you search for a solid tone, that's the choice.

Brings a clear and warm sound to my guitar and vocal tracks

I'm very satisfied with this thing, having used it for some years now, it has proven durable and dependable. It gets rather hot, but what can you expect... It's a great pre-amp stage for guitar and vocals IMHO.
