The Diamond Halcyon ZB-FR is a visually striking guitar with a solid build and versatile playability. Its mahogany body and flame maple top, coupled with Seymour Duncan Pegasus and Sentient pickups, deliver clear and articulate tones even at high gain. The neck is a bit thicker than expected for shredding but remains comfortable for both chords and solos. The lack of coil split or onboard boost might deter some, yet the guitar's overall craftsmanship and aesthetic, including the unique 'Black Moonrise' finish, make it a remarkable piece. Minor setup tweaks may be needed for the Floyd Rose, but these don't detract from its appeal, making it a great option for fans and non-fans of FFDP alike.
