Fat and Loud

This is a really fat, dark, powerful single coil - works great to thicken up the bridge position on a stock S-S-S strat, but I like to use it in the middle position with a hot humbucker in the bridge/neck as it helps balance the output. Definitely not vintage-sounding, if you're hoping for sparkle and twang look elsewhere. It's almost like a strat sized P-90, very wooly and mellow sounding with almost a "cocked-wah" tone. I've personally never liked or used the middle pickup on strat type guitars, but I actually love having one of these in the mid position - way more useable to me than a stock pickup.
