Dunlop Gator Grip 2.0mm picks are a standout choice for rhythm-focused guitarists seeking a warm, dark tone. Their grippy texture ensures a secure hold, even during intense sessions. The picks excel in providing a smooth, fat tone that enhances musicality, although lighter gauges may wear down faster than alternatives like Ultex. A reliable pick for those prioritizing grip and tonal richness. Highly recommended for rhythm and lead play alike.

Best picks ever

I'm playing with them all of my lives. I like picks, that's thicker than 1mm

Grippy and thiccccc

Grips unlike any other picks. While I assume the Max Grip picks are better, this is a fantastic alternative.

2.0mm Gator Grips

I like these picks for any form of music where I need a lot of pick attack. Also, using thicker picks with heavy strings is practical. I got these in a pack of 72 for less than 20 bucks. The only complaint I have is that they wear like crazy. There are other pics I prefer, but I enjoy using these.

encounter_00x

cpt1776,

You may want to try these Dunlop's. The Dunlop JD JazzTone 208. I love them and and there is great control using them for me. I used to use the 73mm 1.2mm etc but these have been great. I'm sure these will more than sufficient for the heavier strings that you use. Give them a try and let me know what you think.
