Description
Designed to deliver superior control, speed and tone, the Dunlop Ultex Sharp 1.0mm Guitar Picks are a must-have tool for any passionate musician. These picks are the result of Dunlop's meticulous research and craftsmanship, inspired by a vintage tortoiseshell pick from their own collection. The picks possess a rigid body that tapers into a thinner, sculpted tip. This unique design ensures not only enhanced control and speed but also offers a variety of playing surfaces and tones.
Engineered from Ultex, a material celebrated for its durability, these picks are virtually indestructible, a testament to Dunlop's commitment to creating long-lasting, quality products. This choice of material also facilitates a crisp tone and quick attack release, making these picks an ideal choice for both precision picking and strumming. Whether you're a professional musician or an enthusiastic amateur, the Dunlop Ultex Sharp 1.0mm Guitar Picks will help you achieve the tone and precision you're aiming for.

Check out my other ultex review for their thinner picks. These are the same except stiffer and clickier. Definitely inferior for acoustic strumming, but barely different on electric. The extra few millimeters make them a less effective toothpick for people with overcrowding. Since they aren't an effective dental tool I am docking the 1mm picks 1 star.

The material is pretty much the same. The Clayton may be a bit crisper in tone and has less rounded edges than the Dunlop one but it is a great alternative.
