Description

Introducing the EMG Daemonum Jim Root Signature Pickups, a unique and potent set designed for those who crave the power and versatility of advanced guitar tech. This signature set is the result of a three-year collaboration between EMG and Slipknot guitarist Jim Root, a true champion of EMG’s 81/60 set. Inspired by a set of modified Retro Active pickups, the Daemonum set delivers a balance of power, versatility, and tonal control that's perfect for aggressive playing styles.

The Daemonum set stands out with its stud pole design for both the neck and bridge pickups, a departure from traditional open-coil pickups. The neck pickup features ceramic studs, yielding a clean, percussive tone that shines with crystalline highs. The bridge pickup, on the other hand, uses black steel stud poles and a ceramic magnet similar to the EMG 81 for an aggressive, overdriven tone that's perfect for heavy riffs and crunchy rhythms.

Another defining feature of the Daemonum set is the custom Retro Active preamps. Exclusive to this model, these preamps provide a wide tonal range, allowing players to adjust the midrange presence to their liking. The preamps also contribute to the set's noise reduction capabilities, eliminating unwanted buzz for a clear, crisp signal.

The Daemonum set comes with EMG's solderless install system, making it a breeze to integrate into most electric guitars and ensuring a quick and easy setup.
