Eminence Ragin Cajun Speaker – 300Guitars.com

300guitars.com

The Eminence Ragin Cajun 10” speaker revitalizes tired amps with its vibrant sound and impressive sensitivity. Musicians will appreciate its bell-like clarity, warm mids, and punchy lows, particularly when paired with smaller tube amps like the Fender Super Champ. However, it may not be for those who prefer a more subdued tone; this speaker demands attention and delivers a loud, dynamic performance. While the initial look may seem unusual with its smooth cone, the sonic transformation it offers is undeniable. In short, the Ragin Cajun is a stellar upgrade that can make a small amp feel gig-ready, though it might overwhelm in quieter settings.

The amps are pretty much stock, with the exception of Celestion G10 Vintage speakers, though one has Eminence Ragin Cajuns, which are his favorite. Ronnie plugs into the Vibrato channel and sets the Normal side on 0, with the volume at a minimum of 6, no matter how small the venue. He usually sets the treble at about 10, the middle at 8, and the bass at 5, with the bright switch off, as well as the reverb on 4.
