Great but...

Tremendous sounds, an abosulte killer machine if you like to quench out the last drop out of a simple sound to make a roomfilling pad, rich basslines or lead sounds.

But...the menu diving is from another age. If you are patient, give it a try. You will fall in love. If you except the maximum after 10 minutes, you'll be disapointed.

Excellent Hardware Sampler

I absolutely adore this thing. Filters sound nice and thick and I still use the factory library to this day. Just an all around powerful hardware sampler.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

The Hammered Dulcimer in the World Instruments library is something I use all the time, along with some great for the time orchestral samples. Especially solid for getting that PS1 era sample orchestra sound.

My favourite piece of gear

This is a very sophisticated device. Programming the so called Cords (modulation matrix) is a thing on it's own. You can't use this device if you don't read the manual. But, in the end you have a machine that is very expressive, warm sounding and if you're looking for heavy low end; this is the best sampler I have encountered. I have a second unit for spares.
