Romain Humeau utilise une telecaster noir depuis Oobik and the pucks (1996) avec d'abord un pickguard blanc puis noir depuis Eiffel dès "abricotine".

Il s'agit d'une telecaster standard avec un simple bobinage en micro manche et un double format simple en chevalet (il ne s'agit pas d'un hotrail mais c'est un micro similaire).

Elle semble être utilisée du début de Eiffel jusqu'à "Tandoori" en 2007 avant d'être remplacée par une Gretsch duojet puis une telecaster deluxe.

Depuis l'album "stupor machine" en 2019 il utilise deux telecaster à trois micros : une en configuration sss avec un grand pickguard blanc et une similaires avec un hotrail en position centrale et un pickguard noir.

Elles furent ensuite utiliser pour l'enregistrement de "la peur et le vent" en 2024/2025.
