Description
Unlock the legendary Fender sound and style with the Fender Mexican Offset Mustang MN. This iconic guitar has been a staple in the hands of trendsetters from Nirvana to The 1975, making it a cherished choice for musicians who demand versatility and flair. The Mustang's 24-inch short scale neck offers a comfortable playing experience, perfect for those with smaller hands or players who crave a different tonal flavor.
What truly sets this guitar apart is its pair of angled single-coil Mustang pickups, which deliver authentic Fender tone with a unique twist. These pickups offer a balanced voice, producing bell-like upper harmonics, punchy mids, and thick lows that cut through any mix with authority. This tonal flexibility, paired with a master volume and tone control along with a three-way pickup switch, allows you to craft your sound precisely.
The smooth, "C"-shaped maple neck is topped with a 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, enhancing its playability for all styles. Add to this the six-saddle string-through-body hardtail Strat® bridge, which not only increases sustain but also provides spot-on intonation, and you have a guitar that's ready to take on any stage or studio.
Classic Fender styling meets modern electronics in this ultra-comfortable, aesthetically pleasing package. With its smaller body and ergonomic design, the Mustang is perfect for energetic performances, making it not just a guitar, but an extension of your musical expression.

Fender Mustang hardtail MIM 'offset series. Lightweight and dependable.
Fender Mustang hardtail MIM 'offset series'. The single coil model seems to have been wired from the factory with 500k pots (same as the p-90 models) and sounds very shrill and trebly. Just change the pots to 250k to take off the shrill high end and you are good to go. A Very well made, light and resonant guitar with a great feeling chunky maple neck. The string-thru body hardtail Strat bridge is very resonant. If you prefer vintage-style tuners, the Fender Classic Gear tuners are a drop in replacement. A Switchcraft short 3-way toggle switch is also a recommended upgrade.
