Description
The Fender Player Jaguar Pau Ferro embodies a perfect blend of classic charm and modern innovation, making it an ideal instrument for adventurous musicians seeking inspiration. With its iconic offset alder body and sleek maple neck, this guitar offers a visually striking design that stands out on any stage. The pau ferro fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface, ensuring comfort across its 24" scale length.
What truly sets this Jaguar apart is its versatile pickup configuration. Equipped with a crisp single-coil at the neck and a robust humbucker at the bridge, the Player Jaguar delivers a remarkable tonal range. The bridge pickup features a coil-split switch, offering the option to tap into classic single-coil tones, making it adaptable to various music styles, from surf rock to punk.
The redesigned floating tremolo tailpiece is another standout feature, providing the beloved Jaguar shimmer and quaver while maintaining stable tuning, allowing for expressive playing without compromising intonation. The tailpiece can also be locked down for more solid tuning when needed.
Built with both heritage and innovation in mind, the Player Jaguar retains its vintage charm with modern refinements like a 9.5" radius on the pau ferro fingerboard and a satin urethane finish on the neck. This combination ensures a fast, comfortable playing experience, perfect for intricate solos and smooth note bends.

Great for the price
Although the pickups sound decent the single coil and humbucker are naturally fairly unbalanced which is made even worse by the coil split. Once you learn how to set your amp correctly to even it out a bit and pickup height, it improves a lot though. Needs an aftermarket bridge and trem too, really.
