Description
The Gibson Custom Adam Jones Flying V Collectors Edition Electric Guitar - Reverse Antique Silverburst is a rare gem, embodying the stellar fusion of Adam's Silverburst Les Paul's iconic style and the edgy aesthetics of a Flying V. This guitar, one of only 50 in the world, mirrors Adam's #1 Les Paul in almost every aspect, barring its distinctive shape. Its body, a Les Paul-style maple-topped mahogany, promises exceptional sustain and crisp, clear highs. The neck, a sturdy 3-piece maple shaft with a comfortable medium "C" profile, is adorned with a sleek ebony fretboard and striking mother-of-pearl block inlays.
The guitar's powerful sound is derived from a unique combination of a bridge-position custom-wound Seymour Duncan DDJ and a neck-position Custombucker, a setup directly inspired by Adam's extraordinary Silverburst Les Paul. This duo ensures an expansive sonic palette capable of delivering everything from fervent Tool riffs to dynamic, PAF-style cleans. The Gibson Custom Adam Jones Flying V is a truly breathtaking instrument, with a unique Reverse Antique Silverburst finish aged meticulously by the experts in Gibson Custom’s Murphy Lab.

From Gibson website: "(...) This out-of-this-world limited-edition Flying V from Adam Jones is designed and built to reflect his preference for heavier guitars and features a non-weight relieved mahogany body, string-through ferrules, a Futura-style split headstock design, custom appointments, a truss rod cover with exclusive artwork overlaid, and a painstakingly-applied Reverse Antique Silverburst finish. It also comes with an adjustable leather strap developed by Adam himself. It is adorned with a Two-Headed Dog hand-cast and plated brooch developed by artist Alex Kuno.
