As you can see in this YouTube video of Wilco performing Impossible Germany Jeff is playing a 1964 Gibson SG with a Maestro Vibrola. He can often be seen playing this guitar for this song as well as the song “at least that’s what you said” during live performances.
Jake can sometimes be seen playing a 1964 SG with a Maestro Vibrola in place of his usual 61 SG
In this interview with Premier Guitar, Nick Perri says:
So this is the SG. My daughter named this guitar "The Cat's Squirrel." I told her she had to pick the name of a Cream song, because this is a '64 reissue, same type of vibe that Clapton had in his time with Cream. George Harrison as well. This is a Custom Shop '64 reissue. Another example of Gibson just hitting it out of the park in the last few years. The guitar is just incredible.
