The Concept: The ASHEN 628 is an extreme metal guitar made to embrace all the range of tones you hear in Buster’s band HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH. Therefore, it has a 28 “baritone scale length, an Evertune bridge, and his signature ÆSHEN pickup. This setup can handle super low tunings of over an octave below E-std while still sounding defined and tight. Balanced Body The body is based on the HAPAS JUDGE and has some changes and added features. All of those will help to enhance your playing comfort and playability. The longer upper horn and the slightly shortened back move the center of gravity of this guitar more to the middle of the body. The result is a perfectly hanging 28“ guitar with no neck dive at all! Easy Frets & Custom Pickup Additional bevels on the front sides of the neck pocket allow you to have better access, even to the highest frets, and bring all the THALL into your play. The guitar is loaded with a Custom HAPAS ÆSHEN Buster Odeholm Signature pickup. A freshly developed pickup relentlessly tested and improved to fulfill Buster’s vision to create the ultimate pickup. The pickup position in the ASHEN 628 is custom-made for this guitar, and Buster determined it. He used a prototype guitar with a moving pickup, to find the absolute sweet spot for his sound and playing style.
