Critic Reviews

GRX22 Review: Generally I spend playing much this kind of music, of course... | Ibanez | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Ibanez GIO GRX22 is a budget-friendly option that leans heavily towards hard rock and metal genres, offering decent sound quality for its price. While it boasts a good neck pickup and a bridge suited for solos, the guitar's hardware and overall durability leave much to be desired, making it less ideal for live performances without modifications. Its Chinese manufacturing shows in some quality issues, but with proper care and possible upgrades, it can still serve as a reliable beginner's guitar. Suitable for learners, but serious players may want to look elsewhere.

Ideal for Beginners

Taking into account that the Latin and Spanish community also uses this page, I will be one of the few Spanish comments. If what you want is to start playing electric guitar, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a very good option, I've had it for over 4 years, and it has not failed me, but if you want to use it for concerts or recitals, I would recommend looking for better options, because despite the guitar being good, let's not forget that it is a low-end one, and the sound it produces may not be the most suitable.
