Iceman IC200 Review: I have played guitar for 9 Years but only evry day... | Ibanez | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Ibanez Iceman IC200 is celebrated for its robust sound and unique design, making it a standout choice for thrash metal enthusiasts. With high marks for sound, reliability, and aesthetics, it handles both clean and distorted tones admirably. The thick finish ensures durability, while the factory setup requires minimal adjustments, showcasing its quality craftsmanship. However, it's not ideal for legato or tapping techniques, which could be a concern for some players. Overall, its distinctive appearance and dependable performance make it a superb option, especially for those who value style as much as sound.

Ibanez Iceman IC200

My first electric guitar. Mine is tobacco burst...I modified this thing with locking Sperzel tuners, a graphite nut, custom mirrored truss rod/pick guard, a Bartolini PBF-55 Jazz humbucker in the neck (coil tapped), a Gibson 57 Classic humbucker in the Bridge, a chrome Bigsby with my name engraved on the handle, push/pull pot, and strap locks. I played it in a skate punk/thrash metal band for almost a decade. Fast neck, heavy body, good for high gain.
