Description

The RG-PAINT is a mini-series of RG series solid body electric guitar models offered by Ibanez in 1999. They were produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J.Custom line.

The RG-PAINT1 and RG-PAINT2 models are based on the RG570 and were made in June 1999. The RG-PAINT3 and RG-PAINT4 models are based on the RG3120 and were made in August 1999.

Each guitar was hand painted, signed and numbered by the artist. A very limited number of examples of each were produced: RG-PAINT1: 18 units RG-PAINT2: 19 units RG-PAINT3: 21 units RG-PAINT4: 29 units

Specifications may vary slightly among examples, being that these are off-the-line models and Ibanez used them to test some features before mass-production.

So easy to play!

I'm proud to say I own a J-custom Ibanez guitar. This one is really easy to play. The neck is thin and the pickups offer a lot of different tones for different styles.
