Ibanez PGM301 Paul Gilbert signature guitar – review – Lone Phantom

lonephantom.com

The Ibanez PGM301 shines as a versatile, all-rounder guitar with its comfortable neck and excellent playability, making it suitable for various musical styles. Equipped with DiMarzio pickups, it offers rich tones, though it may lack power for heavy metal. The hardtail bridge contributes to its solid sustain, while the lack of locking tuners surprisingly doesn't compromise tuning stability. However, the cosmo black hardware is prone to wear, which may require replacements over time. Despite this minor flaw, the PGM301 remains a solid choice for both Paul Gilbert fans and those seeking a reliable and stylish guitar.

A very versatile guitar

I bought this guitar in 2007 and it has been one of my favorite guitars all time. I've changed the pickups to Seymour Duncan Nazgul & Sentient. You can get a lot of tone out of this one!
