Ibanez Prestige RG1570 Review: Why I’ll Never Sell this Guitar – Jason Stallworth

jasonstallworth.com

The Ibanez RG1570 dazzles with its stunning clean and ambient tones, making it a versatile choice for guitarists beyond just metal. The Super Wizard neck and jumbo frets offer exceptional playability, ideal for fast-paced solos. However, it falls short in high-gain settings, often requiring good amp pairing to shine. While the stock pickups may seem lackluster for metal, they can deliver distinct tones when matched correctly. The Edge Pro tremolo is a mixed bag—some players may find it cumbersome. Ultimately, the RG1570 is a beloved instrument that, despite its flaws, delivers a unique playing experience and rich tonal diversity.

Close but no cigar

Great guitar but came in many colors. I had Rustoleum Silver. It looked like someone with a spray can painted it. It did have a bound neck though and the Edge Pro trem. Nice consolation prize but was like owning an unfinished guitar. Played awesome like you expect a Prestige to.
