Alexi Laiho used Jackson guitars in the late 90s until they were stolen in 2003. Among his collection was a 24-fret custom shop RR with a "Wildchild" sticker and another "Stone" RR with white pinstripes. The black RR with green pinstripes, often seen on tour with a taped headstock, is believed to have been borrowed from Roope Latvala, with rumors suggesting the neck broke during a tour. However, there is no concrete evidence of Laiho using the Jackson RR 2073.

The RR 2073 was originally a custom order by Roope Latvala, featuring 22 frets. It was reportedly sold to a Finnish guitarist, as detailed on Jackson Guitar Palace's website. The RR 2074, another custom shop model with similar specifications, was allegedly sold to Laiho by Jiri Jalkanen, but no verified images or evidence exist of Laiho playing it.
