Description

The Jackson USA RR1 Randy Rhoads Select Series Electric Guitar is a tribute to the legendary axe of its namesake, designed to fuel the fiery metal that made Randy Rhoads a pioneer. This high-performance guitar is an all-in-one shredder, featuring an alder body and a rock-solid maple neck running straight through for unmatched sustain and powerful projection. The fast, smooth ebony fretboard, complete with Jackson's iconic sharkfin inlays, meets a compound radius, making soloing across all 22 jumbo frets effortless.

The RR1 is powered by a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a Jazz SH2N at the neck and a high-output JB TB4 at the bridge, handpicked by Rhoads himself for their fiery yet articulate tone. The three-way switch allows you to alternate between the neck, bridge and both pickups, delivering tones from warm cleans to face-melting overdrive.

To complete the Rhoads experience, the RR1 features an original Floyd Rose tremolo system. This German-engineered double-locking system offers radical pitch bends and squeals with surgical precision while maintaining perfect tuning stability. Combined with a sculpted tremolo cavity, the Floyd Rose delivers unmatched resonance and sustain.

great guitar, not me

I briefly owned a USA made Jackson RR flying V. For reasons that must have defied logic and denied my very nature I wanted to get in touch with my metal side in the late 90s. Turns out I don't have a metal side. This was a wonderfully made instrument. Set-neck (or maybe it was neck thru), pointy as all hell, I think mie had Dimarzios in it... and it had a Floyd and locking tuners.... I just felt so silly divebombing that floyd. I got it just for that purpose and then every time I did the Floyd thing I felt like a total poseur. Alas, I could not bond with my RRV and it traded right back to Sam Ash... I heartily recommend this (or any) USA made Jackson t anyone who enjoys this kind of guitar playing and style of guitar. If I got another Jackson it would be a Performer or maybe a Dinky.

His first touring jackson rhoads guitar, many bullet fan will recognize this guitar, since he uses it the live at brixton and many more live. In 2018, it becomes his backup guitar. the guitar got its neck broken and matt send it to the jackson custom shop, so they can repair it. They've made a change alongside reparation, which is that the jackson logo on the head that once was white is now gold.

!! Warning !! He played the RR1T MODEL, which is the same without a floyd rose
