Makes a cheap amp sound great!

The first time I heard this guitar was a left handed version. I was in a Maiden tribute band and one of guitarist friend showed up to one of our sessions after hearing us from his house. I was using a Peavey 6505+ combo and the other guitarists were using some Fender Mustang or Champion amps. I remember he plugged it into the Fender amp and man the guitar gave it some balls. If only it was right handed so I could actually play something instead of struggling with it.

In this catalog on page 30 Dave Murray is officially called Jackson guitars' endorcer along with Adrian Smith. On the photo he holds a strat which isn't represented in the catalog as a serial model and seems to be similar to Adrian Smith's San Dimas. It's doubtful that Dave's guitar is absolutely identical to Adrian's one (except the colour), but, unfortunately, that's all we know about it.
