Don’t let the size fool you! This RIPS!

I’m STILL blown away by the tones I get out of this and a 1x12” cab. It really does sound amazing. Clearly this is a practice/home use amp. I use mine at home and it gets plenty loud. It takes pedals really well and the effects loop is definitely a plus! Ebay even sells Mesa Stickers that fit PERFECTLY where the joyo logo is. Just for some humorous ridiculousness. Not in any way trying to pass it as what its modeled after. I think its a great rectifier model. It really does give you what you need to play any kind of metal you wish to unload on it. But the clean channel is also VERY clean. Sounds fantastic with a chorus/flanger pedal in the loop. And it takes a single 12AX7 type of preamp tube. So you can literally buy a few handfuls of those tubes and swap them for DAYS without the troublesome task or re-biasing your amp.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I like using a tube screamer on the dirty channel to tighten everything up. I also use a Fortin Zuul to get rid of ALL my unwanted noise.

I also like setting up a really clear clean tone and adding a Maxon SM-9 Super Metal Pro + distortion and again with the Zuul for noise.

And theres also the usual all modulation through the effects loop trick that also sounds absolutely STELLAR through this little monster! 👹

Fantastic

I love the tone of this amp, it replicates a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier, it does exactly that, I love this amp. It was only 200 us dollars, as opposed to 2000 us dollars.
