Very touch sensitive amp.
This is a really nice amp if you need it to be loud on stage, but at conversation levels at home. It's special power scaling is a miracle. Kool & Elfring call it "SVC -Seamless Volume Control and - Tube amp volume under control!"
That is not a lie. It goes from loud to a whisper with one turn of the dial without loosing character. It is also extremely responsive to your picking and your pickups. I can go from clean to crunch by digging in, or by switching from single coils to hum-buckers.
it has two different voicings as well, but I always use the "boost" mode.
The only thing I think odd about this amp is the tone controls. They hardly change the sound at all, except for the presence control. Luckily that's all I need, in this case.

Amplifier Head
Awesome Head. It's single channel layout combined with 2 footswitchable modes makes this amp feel like second nature, very musical and very easy to use. The gain (pre-gain) and master (post-gain) open an entire world of tone varieties from sparkling clean to tasty crunch tones.
