The OG Korg Triton (hardware) was the great grandpa of do-it-all software ROMpler/synths like Omnisphere... Omnisphere is still getting updated sounds to keep pace with the times, whereas Triton is more for those that specifically want those classic '90s/'00s sounds. There is some overlap in the bread-and-butter acoustic sounds between both offerings, but there's a case to be made for owning both.
