The new update made it way better.
A huge issue I had with the original KORG WAVESTATION VST is that the original UI didn't have any form of categorization, meaning that picking specific instrument presets in this plugin was a huge pain, and it honestly made me choose using M1 over this plugin any day of the week. Since the release of V2 however I've found myself constantly coming back to WAVESTATION for its unique sound and the VST finally having categorization making it less of a chore to get the kind of sounds I want from the plugin.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
RAM2 44 - Xnaos Split is a pretty good bell-like pad patch that I find myself sneaking into my tracks a fair bit

Atmosphere machine
This thing gets snuck into more tracks than I'd like to admit. Even just the first dozen or so sounds are beautiful and absolutely worth it, beyond that you'll find tons of great pads, leads, crazy synth sounds, and lots of other patches that are very usable to this day.

Very good emulation of the classic Wavestation
It's very affordable and gives you instant access to all the classic (but somewhat dated) sounds of the Wavestation. This is not an all round powerful synth but a very good emulation of the best selling romper synth with vectorsynthesis and wavesequencing features (and it even includes all the official expansion cards). The Wavestation is best described as M1/T1 meats Dave Smith (Sequential Prophet VS) and has been heard on many classic records. And this time it's in a really affordable package.
