Description

Line 6 Helix Control is an exceptional addition to the Helix Rack, offering a range of creative possibilities. This floor controller, coupled with the Helix Rack, provides the same functionality as the floor-based Helix, opening up a new world of creativity. With a single cable connection, users can select a block for editing by touching a footswitch, create personalized labels for the scribble strips, and connect up to three expression pedals.

The most notable feature is the Pedal Edit Mode which allows users to edit parameters hands-free for the first time. This feature makes it possible to tweak any amp or effect parameter using your foot, providing an intuitive way to interact with technology. This is a game changer for musicians who don't want to stop playing to adjust a knob.

This unit also features touch-sensitive footswitches that enable you to select an effect block or other items for editing simply by touching it. This is paired with the large 800x480-pixel LCD display that almost eliminates menu-diving, providing a level of control comparable to an external editor.

Key Features:

  • Touch-sensitive footswitches with LED rings and custom display
  • 3 Expression pedal inputs for maximum adaptability
  • Single cable connection for data and power transmission
  • Pedal Edit Mode for hands-free parameter editing
  • Sturdy and compact metal casing
  • Customizable scribble strips.

It’s gonna take a bit to program this one with all of my midi program and CC switching but I’m excited to see how it does with all the IRs that were included with it. I’ve only gotten to play it through a power amp and cab once so far but it’s definitely competing to be my new live amp
