Description
The Monolith Humbucker modern High Gain Pickups by Lollar
The Lollar Monolith Humbucker Pickup is a high-output, modern-voiced humbucker designed for players who need clarity and punch under heavy gain. Built with AlNiCo 8 magnets, it delivers a tight low end, strong midrange presence, and a smooth yet articulate top end, avoiding the harshness often associated with high-output pickups. The bridge version emphasizes aggressive attack and harmonic richness, while the neck remains open and vocal for leads and clean passages. Despite its power, it maintains excellent note definition and dynamic response, making it suitable for progressive, metal, and modern rock styles. Coil-splitting capabilities allow it to produce convincing single-coil tones with added versatility. Overall, it blends modern aggression with refined tonal balance in a handcrafted design.
