Novo Guitars Serus T review

guitar.com

Novo Guitars' Serus T is a masterclass in melding vintage inspiration with modern functionality. The guitar's tempered red pine body offers remarkable resonance and lightweight comfort, while the C-shaped neck provides a perfect balance of playability and vintage feel. The Amalfitano pickups deliver a sophisticated, edgy sound, blending Tele and Strat characteristics with a unique voice. While the price may be steep, the Serus T's craftsmanship and expressive capabilities make it a tempting investment for serious players. Dennis Fano has crafted an instrument that captivates both eyes and ears.

Superb Guitar with lot of feel and dynamics

This is simply one of the finest guitars I've ever played and heard. Very dynamic and 'at home in all markets'. The sound can be adjusted very precisely with volume and tone potentiometers; these respond very subtly / refined. I had to get used to the shape: you like it or not at all. The head seems very big and the body is not spectacular ... until you wear it all night. It hangs very well in balance and is not too heavy; very comfortable.

Some more points for attention: the guitar has a lot of output and it might be useful to always turn the volume down slightly (8.5-9). Also turn the tone potentiometer back a bit for a more refined sound. The neck of my guitar is quite sensitive to the weather. has to adjust the neck slightly during the changing of the seasons.
