Orange Crush Pro Series CR120H review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

Orange's Crush CR120H successfully bridges the gap between solid-state and tube tones, offering a surprisingly robust sound for its price. The amp's sturdy build and straightforward controls appeal to gigging musicians, while its analog design helps deliver a more authentic tonal experience. However, the lack of a mid-control on the clean channel and no included footswitch can be frustrating drawbacks. Additionally, when factoring in the cost of a cabinet, the overall value diminishes, leaving some to wonder about practicality versus nostalgia for head-and-cab setups. For those willing to embrace its quirks, the CR120H proves to be a solid choice for rock enthusiasts.
