Description
The Paul Reed Smith Special Semi-Hollow electric guitar is a harmonious fusion of stunning aesthetics and versatile sound, crafted for guitarists who demand both style and substance. With its chambered mahogany body and elegantly carved maple top featuring an F-hole, this guitar not only captivates the eye but also enriches your tonal palette with warmth and resonance. The semi-hollow design offers a weight-reduced experience, further enhanced by its long sustain and airy quality—ideal for genres ranging from rock and blues to jazz and country.
At the core of its sonic versatility are the 58/15 LT pickups, coupled with PRS's innovative Narrowfield pickup. This configuration, along with a 5-way blade pickup selector and two mini-toggle coil-split switches, provides a vast array of tonal options. Whether you’re after the rich, vintage humbucker sound or the crisp, clean tones of a single coil, the Special Semi-Hollow delivers with clarity and precision.
The guitar's Pattern profile neck ensures comfortable playability, allowing seamless transitions between thumb-over and thumb-behind fretting positions. With a smooth rosewood fingerboard adorned with iconic bird inlays, and a PRS Gen III Tremolo bridge for added expressive capability, the Special Semi-Hollow is as much a joy to play as it is to behold.

Very premium
These where a limited run item. Exquisitely built as is to be expected for PRS, they are very versatile covering most bags you may need to cover. The dip switches give you strat like tones, fat telly, les Paul, a true pro session instrument. It is a very light guitar so can easily be worn all night every night with out much difficulty. The one detractor is the very high Price tag but certainly worth it.
