STUDIOLIVE AR16C: PRODUCING MUSIC IN TOTAL AUTONOMY, WITH OR WITHOUT PC (ENG REVIEW) – MUSICSOUNDTECH

musicsoundtech.com

The PreSonus StudioLive AR16c stands out as an impressive all-in-one solution for musicians, offering a robust 18-channel mixer, a USB audio interface, and integrated effects at a competitive price. Its metal construction and user-friendly layout enhance its appeal, while features like Bluetooth connectivity and a digital recorder on SD cards add versatility. However, it lacks MIDI I/O and has global phantom power limitations. Still, with reliable XMAX preamps and solid software support, this mixer is a strong contender for both live and studio use, making it a worthy investment for bands and young producers alike.

An absolute powerhouse of a hybrid!

This was my first ever mixer/interface hybrid that I bought, and I can confidently tell that it was one of the best purchases I have ever made when it comes to buying equipment. It's jam-packed with all sorts of nifty features such as a built-in stereo channel recorder, an extra channel dedicated to its audio interface and an extra RCA input. Other than that, the overall quality feels very sturdy. I also have to mention that the noise level that it has when it comes to recording is WAY lower than I expected which was a very nice surprise. I feel like I'm an amateur when it comes to hardware equipment at the moment, but I haven't had any major problems with it just yet, so I feel like I made a very good decision picking this as my first :)
