Description

A stylish compact amp with a built-in iOS interface for playing and practicing anywhere.

Combining great COSM guitar tones, iOS interfacing, and a quality 2.1 Channel audio system, the CUBE Lite Guitar Amplifier lets you play and record at home along with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Connect your iOS device to the i-CUBE LINK jack and launch the free CUBE JAM app, then riff along with backing tracks and record your playing to share your music and archive song ideas. With stereo speakers and an integrated subwoofer, you'll enjoy rich, satisfying sound reproduction for both guitar playing and casual music listening. And with an attractive look that blends with any home décor, the CUBE Lite Guitar Amplifier can occupy a permanent spot in your living space, always at the ready when you want to plug in and jam.

Killer Guitar Tones
The CUBE Lite Guitar Amplifier provides three great COSM tones-JC CLEAN, CRUNCH, and EXTREME-giving you a wide range of sounds for playing any style of music. Reverb and chorus effects are onboard as well, with true stereo performance for a wide, expansive sound.

2.1 Channel Audio System For Impressive Sound
Equipped with stereo speakers and an integrated subwoofer, the CUBE Lite's powerful 2.1 Channel audio system delivers a rich, full sound that belies the amp's compact footprint. When you want to practice silently, just plug in a set of headphones to mute the onboard speakers.

Easy iOS Device Integration with i-CUBE LINK
With the newly developed i-CUBE LINK interface, the CUBE Lite Guitar Amplifier lets you integrate your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your axe in a familiar and satisfying way-through a real amp with great tone. Other interfaces require bulky, specialized add-ons to plug your guitar direct into the iOS device, resulting in a clumsy, inconvenient playing experience. With i-CUBE LINK, you just connect to your device's audio jack with the included cable, then blend the COSM tones and iOS audio together at the amp with simple, intuitive controls. The versatile i-CUBE LINK jack can also be used as a simple stereo input, enabling you to hook up nearly any music player or audio device and play it through the CUBE Lite.

CUBE JAM App
The free Roland CUBE JAM app turns your iOS device into a fun command center for jamming, recording, and learning. Play back commercial songs and minus-one tracks through the CUBE Lite via i-CUBE LINK, and riff along for hours with awesome COSM tones. CUBE JAM also records audio through the i-CUBE LINK connection, allowing you to easily capture your jams. After you're done recording, you can adjust the volume of your guitar and backing music independently, then export your mix to a 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV file. The app also includes great tools for music practice, including independent speed and pitch adjustment of audio playback, Center Cancel to remove solos and create your own jam tracks, and more.

Direct Mode
Normally, recording from the CUBE Lite Guitar Amplifier into CUBE JAM or another app captures the sound as you hear it, with the COSM tone applied. Activating the CUBE Lite's Direct Mode feature lets you capture dry guitar sounds while monitoring with the COSM sound. Recording dry tracks in this way gives you the option to experiment later by "re-amping" with any guitar app of your choice. Direct Mode also allows you to use real-time guitar processing in any app, monitoring the live output with the CUBE Lite.

Stylish Design For Modern Living Spaces
Offering an appearance more like a consumer audio system than a typical rugged-look guitar amp, the CUBE Lite blends in seamlessly with any home living space. In addition to being a great guitar amp, it also doubles as a high-quality playback system for your digital music library.

Roland CUBE Lite review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Roland Cube Lite 10W Guitar Combo Amp is a compact, stylish practice amp that seamlessly fits into home settings. It boasts a range of playable tones, a phrase-training app, and doubles as a music playback system. While it can't run chorus and reverb simultaneously, its COSM guitar tones and iOS connectivity make it a versatile practice tool. With three amp models and the ability to adjust drive, bass, treble, and effects, it covers a wide sound spectrum. The Cube Lite is a practical, attractive choice for home practice, though not a replacement for a full-sized amp.

Roland Cube Lite and Cube Jam App Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Roland Cube Lite 10W Guitar Combo Amp is a compact powerhouse, ideal for musicians practicing in tight spaces. Its sleek design doubles as a stereo system, making it a stylish addition to any room. The amp impresses with its clean, chorus-rich tones reminiscent of the JC-120, and offers versatile sound options with COSM-based modeling. Its user-friendly controls and iOS connectivity make it an attractive option for tech-savvy musicians. However, the associated app lacks key features, and the amp struggles with high volumes, leading to harsh clipping. Despite these drawbacks, its affordable price and dual functionality make it a strong contender for those seeking a practice amp that blends seamlessly into modern living spaces.

Big Sound W/O Sacrificing Space.

The plethora of bedroom amps and I chose this one.
First, size: I didn't want a large footprint. The cube is the size of a Woman's shoebox thus, portable & lightweight. I could put it in a desk drawer if I wanted to.

Second, design- style: it was going into an office and didn't want to look like the office was a playground. Looking like a Bose Wave Radio it blends in and not obtrusive at all. A wolf in sheeps clothing. Makes a good computer speaker as well.

Third, Sound: it had to have a good clean sound. I wasn't expecting a big amp Sound or even to come close. wow!!!
The JC-clean is as good as its larger siblings. The gain adds warmth to the sound on this setting to a slight break-up. My goto setting on this amp. Crunch, modeled after a British Lead Amp. The sound is good. I lean towards low gain which I use for Blues. Turn UP the gain and say hello to Angus. Extreme a setting I don't use So I Can't speak much on that. I can say You can chug out metal riffs pleasantly to satisfy the shredder set. The Chorus & Reverb are great for a amp at any price.

The store had a bunch of Yamaha's THR's on clearance and they sounded great but, lacked form. THR's had all the bell's & whistles if that is Your thing. Spyder, Mustang, Vipers were too big. The sound from the cube is as good if not better than larger amps. Great at low volume settings w/o sacrificing tone.

I take it traveling with a camcorder case since there is not a Roland case for the cube lite. If portability is something you need might look to the forementioned or a standard Cube. Great for Entertaining guest whether playing or using the mp 3 input. Sounds great as a media speaker. With a DIY USB adapter I can power it in my car via 2.1 amp output or a phone / Tablet battery.

Big Sound w/o sacrifice space.
